There are 2 options available when deploying a Sinefa Probe AMI using the Amazon AWS Marketplace.
Option 1: Click Launch and Login using SSH for Manual Registration
Once the Sinefa Probe has launched, log into it using SSH (using the username ec2-user), then run the following command:
sudo /opt/sinefa/bin/sinefa-set-config -r <registration key>
Your registration key can be found when you log into your Sinefa account and navigate to Settings > Probe > Add Probe.
After running this command, your new Sinefa Probe will appear in your Sinefa account immediately.
Option 2: Launch with EC2 Console and Specify Auto-registration Data
Launch the Sinefa Probe AMI with the EC2 Console. Configure the settings as required. When you get to the "Configure Probe" section, paste the "User Data" text found on the Settings | Software | Amazon AWS EC2 page into the "User Data" field and check the "Input is already base64 encoded" check-box as shown below.
Continue through the wizard. After your new Sinefa Probe has launched, it will automatically appear in your Sinefa account within a few minutes.
Note: The default login credentials are 'admin' and no password.
