Sinefa's technology covers the following:
Sinefa's Application Intelligence service provides User Experience scoring and measure parameters such as Round Trip Time, retransmissions and many other application performance parameters to answer the question "Is the problem with the Application, the Network or the Cloud".
Sinefa's Network Intelligence service provides layer 7 traffic utilization monitoring to see which applications and users are using the network.
The service requires at least one Sinefa probe to be installed in the network and can operate in a number of different modes including inline and out-of-path. The Sinefa probe is Layer 7 capable and can accept raw packet as well as flow information from 3rd party networking equipment such as routers and switches. Key parameters reported include applications, hosts, websites and users.
Resolution of data is down to 1 second on Sinefa Live. Historical reporting such as last 60 minutes to 3 days use 5 minute samples, 7 days to 14 days use 15 minute samples and 30 days (and all monthly archives) use 60 minute samples.
Drill-down capability is available to see which hosts accessed a particular application or to see what applications a user accessed.

Network Quality Service
Sinefa's Network Quality service provides online reports on the network quality between two Sinefa probes. Reports are available for Network Quality Score (NQS), delay, jitter and loss.
The information is presented online with time series graphs and tables. Historical reporting is available such as last 60 minutes, 24 hours, 7 days, etc and also historical monthly time ranges. Sinefa's Network Quality Scoring (NQS) requires at least two Sinefa probes to be installed in the network.

Application Control (Traffic Shaping) Service
Sinefa's Application Control service allows the network manager to very easily create policies and protecting critical applications and prioritising traffic over the data network. The shaping policy is centrally configured in the Sinefa Application and can be deployed to thousands of locations with a single click. Sinefa's slide bar bandwidth allocation technology is the simplest way to control the flow of traffic across all types of data networks.
