You may have custom in-house applications that don't have an application signature stored in our database, you have the option to add in your own definition so that it will start getting captured in the reporting.
- Go into Settings > Applications within the Sinefa Porta
- Select Add Application
- Enter in the details required to be able to start capturing this app utilization data. Please note: you're not required to fill in all fields but at least fill in enough detail to be able to identify this application
- Once you have filled in the application details, select Apply then go into Sinefa Live and start seeing that data getting classified under your new application definition!
In the above example, what we used to identify our application was the website (www.customapplication.com) and the TCP port that it communicates on (TCP port: 22)
Each field explained
Field | Definition |

Websites | The source URL of the traffic that you want captured within your reporting i.e. www.facebook.com |
